Yes.  Access to telehealth and e-visits allow existing patients who do not wish to leave their home an opportunity to speak with a physical therapist.  Via a telephone call or video, your Doctor of Physical Therapy can progress a current treatment plan, triage new pain or symptoms, or develop an exercise program to prevent decline.  During this unprecedented time with the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), telehealth not only ensures patients are receiving necessary medical care, it also assists in reducing the overall health burden on hospitals and doctor’s offices.   Telehealth visits may not be covered by your insurance plan; please check with your insurance benefits department for your individual coverage.  Cash pay options are available.
